On the Golden Mile gives you a glimpse into the Eerie underwater world. Discover the secrets of the deep. The Sealife Centre has for children and grown ups a special Sea Laboratory, where you are allowed to actually handle sturdy, crusty rock pool creatures including crabs and starfish.

You will be able to walk through the fabulous Crystal Tunnel and be  just a few inches away from a six foot tropical shark. If you're lucky, or unlucky, it depends how you judge it, you may be splashed on by a huge,  friendly stingray rising to the surface to feed.

And don't miss the Superheroes of the sea! Be amazed by the awesome Pacific Octopus, a giant of the sea able to grow to a span of 5 feet across.  Be astounded by two of the deadliest creatures on this planet, the Australian Blue Ring Octopus and the Crown of Thorns Starfish, whose venomous powers enable them to kill a man under 5 seconds!

The new attraction is the AmaZone, a recreation of the Amazon rainforest from the floor to the forest canopy, where you can experience the sounds and atmosphere of this enchanting forest with running water, mist and over 80 different freshwater species including deadly poison dart frogs and Piranhas.

The Tropical Shark Display features one of the largest collections in Europe.  Stroll through the  180 degree underwater Crystal Tunnel for a close encounter with Black Tip Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and the 18 stone Grouper.  Join the famous Greek philosopher Plato on a journey to the Lost City of Atlantis.  Take a look at what's closer to home in British Sea's with the Quayside and Victoria Pier displays, and get interactive with the popular touch pool area.  Experience the elegant world of the Sea Horse in The Kingdom Of the Seahorse with 5 different species.

With over 40 fascinating displays, a full programme of feeding demonstrations, talks by expert staff, cafe, gift shop and play area.  Overall a superb all weather attraction.
